I have a 200 ICP that is using CO trunks for inbound and outbound calls. The answer point for the main telephone number is an LDN key. I'd like the calls to ring 4-5 times on the LDN key and then reroute to a toll free number. I am not sure what programming changes to make in order to make the call cover/re route after a certain amount of time or rings. I know what changes to make in order get the call off net by changing COS options etc...

In my research, I've found a setting in the Call Rerouting table titled CO Line Routing Points on No Answer. The description sounds promising to me. Has anyone had success using this setting for a scenario like I've described above?

Thanks

I think I'm on the right track. After reading the help files some more, I found some other COS options that I may need to incorporate into programming:

Attendant Automatic Call Forward - No Answer (Option107): Allows unanswered calls to be rerouted to a secondary answer point. The call is automatically rerouted after it rings for a pre-determined length of time. See COS Option 118 - Attendant Automatic Call Forward - No Answer Timer.

and

Attendant Call Forward - No Answer Timer (Option 118): This sets the Call Forward - No Answer timer for the Attendant Automatic Call Forward Feature.

You don't want option 107 That serves a different purpose

The Form 19 option should be all you need

CO Line Routing Points on No Answer -
Incoming calls to a CO line that are not answered within a programmed time-out period are routed here. The time-out period is specified by the Attendant-Times Recall (No Ans) timer in the class of service of the trunk. This rerouting option is based on the CO line’s tenant.

Thanks kwb! I plan on setting up and testing in my lab today.

I have my trunks and staff phones assigned to the same tenant. I set up a speed dial (sc111) with the toll free number. For tenant 1, I assigned sc111 to CO Line Routing Points for this tenant. I set Attendant Call Forward - No Answer Timer (Option 118) to 10 sec in the COS for the Console and LS Trunks. I called the main trunk and the phone rang and rang but did not forward to the toll free number.

I changed the Day answer point to sc111 for the main number, called it and it forwarded to the toll free service. What am I missing??

Thanks

Ok, cob webs are coming off.

The form 19 settings were a red herring as those are for CO trunks on DTS keys. When CO trunks are on DTS keys they do not have D/N1/N2 settings in form 14.

In your case, you are using the Form 14 Day/N1/N2 settings so form 19 is not applicable.

This brings us back to option 107 (needs to be enabled on the Console/Sub-Att with the lowest bay slot cct)

The Night 1 termination point in form 14 is the overflow point.

I've just changed my answer point for Night1 in form 14. I'm going to test it out and see how it works.

"This brings us back to option 107 (needs to be enabled on the Console/Sub-Att with the lowest bay slot cct)" Curious, why the Console/sub-att with the lowest bay slot cct? My console is set to 1/1/2 so I've enabled Option 107 in its COS.

So did a Show Status of the trunks port in maintenance, then called that trunk number. It rang about 4 times. The SWSTAT showed it ringing. After the 4th ring, the SWSTAT changed to BST, but the call was not transferred to the toll free number I added to ssc111. In form 14, Night1 is set to ssc111. The call simply rang no answer until it disconnected on its own.

If you change the system to Night1 is works?

If so, no idea.

Re:Lowest Bay/Slt/Cct - Because when there is more than 1 console with an LDN, the lowest has control as per the manual.

You can use this sometimes when there's numbers you want to forward and others you do not.

I'll change the system to Night1 and learn how the coverage works.

I figured out my mistake. I had not enabled 3-8 in Form 30. After enabling them, the re route is working as you stated kwbMitel.

Thanks for your help.

I was confused because you had previously said it was working - 22 Jun 17 21:11

I changed the Day answer point to sc111 for the main number, called it and it forwarded to the toll free service.

I don't see how that test could have worked without the form 30 programming

I had forgotten that I set the Day answer point to sc111 and it did in fact work. Hmmmm...

Hmmmmm... indeed
