For those of you without access to Mitel tech bulletins. This note was sent out recently and I thought it would be useful to share.
SX200 ICP ONS stations connected to AMB, ASU and perbays will receive one way audio on established calls. Any ONS set that is forwarded to a system speed dial for ONS voice mail or external call forwarding is susceptible to this issue.
The scenario is as follows. An ONS is in talk state with another set, station or trunk, and a new call is directed at the set. The set forwards on a busy condition to the required destination. (ie. voice mail or other external party.) The original call will now have one-way audio.
All ONS are affected if forwarded to a system speed call. This does not affect DNIC or IP sets.
If your site has ONS that are forwarded to System Speed call numbers, do not upgrade to 4.0.5.X software.
This will be resolved with a new release of 4.0.5. (post 4.0.5.17)
