Is there a feature in the ONS class of service that must be enabled in order for the console to be able to light the message waiting lamp/BLF on a guest room phone?

Thanks

Message Waiting Setup - Lamp is enabled in COS

Is it activating and not flashing or is it not activating?

If active, you should have the option to cancel it once set from the console.

You may need the option Message Sending - 258? enabled in the COS of the console.

I also recommend 320? transparent multiconsole operation which allows the console to view and cancel MWI set from other devices.

It is activating, but not flashing on the phone

message sending is option 259 in form 3, in the cos of the guest rooms do you have option 232 enabled?

Might be the lamp on the phone requires more voltage or longer voltage

Can you test with a different style of phone? One that is known to work with Mitel?

Gentlman, I'd like to thank you for all of your input. The problem was that my manager changed the number of the phone extension. I was sending a message to the wrong extension. Once I realized it, I fixed it and tested and it is working. All the Options you advised me to enable were enabled with the exception of Option 320, kwbMitel. I have now enabled it just in case. Again, thanks for your input and I apologize for waisting your time.
