SX200 AX>Locked ONS Extension

I've got a phone that shows Locked when I check it from the console. I call the extension and it goes strait to voice mail. I've tried busy out but it tells me the device is currently in use. I thought maybe their on the phone and have tried busy out the extension over the course of 30 minutes. Still no dice. Maybe it's a great conversation

Nothing a system reset couldn't fix. Ha!

you can unlock it from maintenance, this started in release 4.0.4.9 which you will have for sure on your AX

go into maintenance then reports-show-status-then either 1 for bay/slot/cct or 3 for ext num-enter extension number-then you will see 3-CP_DEV_IDLE, press 3 and all will be good. This works if the phone is left off hook. This will help until the actual problem is rectified, off hook or wire/jack issue.

Just saw your comment pandabear1. Thanks for posting a less intrusive solution. I'm not a fan of restarting systems in the middle of the day but, we do what we must to make folks happy.

@crich01 - Forgive my confusion but I thought your second post was stating the resolution.

A locked phone simply means that the cct detects off hook and has supplied dialtone until timeout.

Until whatever is causing the line to pull dialtone is cleared, you will have an issue.
