I have an SX200 and am trying to figure out what I need to check to get our logs to automatically print on the serial printer connected to the printer port on the main cabinet. I have logged into maintenance and set autoprint to on...also used resume printer neither of which seem to make a difference. I can manually go into the logs and have the system print however many log entries I specify with no problem. It just appears that as the log entries are generated they are not autoprinting. In CDE form 34 Directed IO the printer port is set to printout Maintenance logs as well as Hotel/Motel Wakeup(which we do not use this feature)...maintenance logs are set to printout type directed Guaranteed is set to No. I know there is something simple I'm missing here as the system used to autoprint just fine. The printer that was used here was moved to another business for other uses. I have a different printer here now and communications between the system and printer are fine as I stated before I can manually tell it to print and it does as requested. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
