how do you direct a DID to the auto-attendant? Which CDE form do you use to put for example 2299 to ring right into the auto-attendant instead of the operator.
As always your help is greatly appreciated

No, Form 14 is for NON-DIAL in TRUNKS, eg. analog trunks. This is where you direct inbound calls on these types of trunks.

Not sure if the option of using an ACD path will work on the SX-200 as it does on the 3300, but you could try it.

If not, try creating a phantom extension with the DID digits 2299 and make sure that there is no VM box associated with this extension. Doesn't matter if the extension is digital or analog! Then use the Console and forward that extension ALWAYS to VM. When calls are forwarded to VM, the call is tagged with the extension of the forwarding set. When there is no mailbox associated with the extension, the VM system will answer the call with the main system greeting. Bingo... Your call is answered by the Auto-Attendant. Hope that helps.

In release 3.0 you will be able to point any DID to any position that you want... you are provided a INPUT TO OUTPUT CONVERSION TABLE... we will love this.

Can hardly wait, now we won't have to use up device licences. Awesome.

Big Lucy, This will not help you if your system is the older SX-200. The last post is in reference to the new SX-200ICP systems.
