I have followed the technical documentation and Tech handbook to set up a QSIG trunk to the best of my abilities. The trunk that I've set up works beautifully for inbound calls. I can make and transfer calls over the QSIG trunk. The problem I have lies when I go to make a call over the trunk from the SX-2000 Light to the other PBX its hooked up to. When I do this I've tried both ARS and using the individual trunk access feaure code with the trunk number.

I have put ARS aside as I am unsure of the functionality of the trunk itself so I have spent more time worrying about the individual trunk access error. I dial the feature access code of 8, followed by the trunk number 0100 then when I type any digits I get the error "Access Denied" on the SuperSet 430 hooked up to the SX-2000.

Make sure you have public network access via dpnss in the sets and trunks class of service.

Is your set allowed individual trunk access? It's a COS option. Make sure that you can access your regular trunks first and then try it on your T1. That way you are trying it with a trunk you know works.

By the way, what is the other PBX? The problem may be there.

When you say you have followed the book to the word.

Have you actually programmed your PRI card via IMAT as well?

If you have not done so then theres your problem

NSU or Embedded trunk card. QSig still needs Imat to be programmed to function. You still need to do the call by call features etc and add the corresponding digits via the digit mod form. Even with direct trunk select you need to add the three digits to select the correct service even if attached to another PBX. Most people forget that.

if using call by call add {000} to you digits to be inserted in digit mod or if using fixed you need to add nothing. Ensure the QSIG trunks and your sets have puclic access via dpnss in the class of service.

Sorry ref my ;ast reply for a qsig trunk the digit mod is just {00}
