I have a customer with a SX-200 ICP MX that is currently using only IP phones. Would it be possible for someone to give me an overview on what I would need to do and what to purchase to add approximately 50 analog extensions and a PRI trunk module to this system? I am open to quotes also.

Thanks
Craig

This may not be 100% but should give you a good start.

Users with access to the Mitel Configurator can be more exact.

What is the Software Level?

An MX has 2 CIM Ports on the from and I am assuming that these are not in use.
[tt]ASU II - 50005105 - qty 2 (1 if phones <= 50)
24 port ONSP Card - 50005731 - qty 3 (2 if phones <= 50 = 48+2 embedded)
T1/E1 Combo MMC - 50005160 - qty 1
Digital Link License - 54002415 - qty 1
Stratum 3 Clock - 50003726 - qty ? (system may already have one)
TDM Device License - 54002832 - qty 50? (1 for each device)
Voicemail License??? - 54000922 - qty 12? (4 per)
Voicemail License??? - 54000921 - qty 2? (1 per)[/tt]

What's most important is that you realise ... There is no spoon.

does not the MX have 4 embedded analogs? and you don't need ONS licences for embedded ones so you only need 48 for the ASU ONS. But you will still need 2 ONS cards but end up with 52 ONS circuits.

I van give you a list price quote if you want.

oops, no you were right 2 embedded on mx , I was thinking cx...sorry.
