Hey all, I'd like to make a "help desk" type thing and I thought about using a menu tree that can:

dial an internal extension (checked - OK)

dial a speed dial to call outside of building. (doesn't seem to work)

and to make one of the menu tree numbers possibly ring into another menu tree for self help support. (Not tested)

Thanks!!

Jim

Jim,

EMEM can transfer from Menu trees to internal extension, other menu trees and external numbers.

Make sure the COS of the EMEM and your trunks have options 313-319 enabled and you allow them to connect in form 30.

Make the system abbreviated dial access code plus the bin number the extension of a transfer only box or send it to an extension that is call forwarded always to the external number. Either way will work.
