Customer has a sx 200D with Duvoice voicemail. The meesage waiting light is constantly on in room 408. We tried Function, F5, 408, F8 to turn off. Also deleted and rebilt mailbox 408, but light is still on. Any suggestions on how to turn light off would be appreciated

The light was probably set by some other device other than the console or voicemail.

If it is dialed message waiting you could try using the Dialed MWI cancel Feature Code.

There are quite a few helpful hints in the following FAQ

Do you know what the Dialed MWI cancel Feature Code is? I am a Nortel teck and am not familiar with the Mitel.
Thanks

Sorry my bad, I'm so used to responding to 3300 questions I didn't shift gears to the 200.

Most of the FAQ will be useless to you as well.

On the 200 under form 2 you will find a feature code to call back the message sender. Use this code and hope that someone answers. If the call is answered the MWI should cancel.

failing that there are some other more extreme options.

I am a Nortel teck and am not familiar with the Mitel programming. So i dont know what form 2 is. Do you know someone in Vancouver Canada that i could pay, for some teck support?

Well, no matter who you contact, they will need a passcode into your system. There are several options in your area.

Mitel Direct
Bell Canada
Allstream

Would be the leaders. I'm trying not to show too much bias here as I work for Bell.
