SWT files-- Missing Generator??

I was given a site which was created ages ago using Generator, and lots of swt files. I do not have the original fla files. I would like to make the site work, from what I can tell, the site requires Generator to be running on the server.

Is there some way around this? swt to swf converter? anything? Or should I give up and start from scratch.

If you do not have the flash files you are pretty much hosed with it. Thing is that Generator has (had) some pretty specific components for data connections and the like. If it requires the server component (online Generator) then it is probably using the advanced stuff.

There is very little chance you will be able to reverse engineer the .swt so you would be able to do anything with it.

If you have Flash 5 you might be able to do something with it. (Generator tools included with Flash 5).

That said I still have Flash 5 (somewhere). If you want to post a .swt I could try to see if anything can be done with it.
