I have made a button in flash 5, it changes colour when the mouse runs
over. I exported the image and saved it as an .swt file. The problem is
that
when I insert the flash button into Dreamweaver using "insert flash
button" it will not let me add "button text" in the button properties
box. Any ideas
Thanks
G

i think you mean a .swf file and you should try the dreamweaver forum..maybe someone there will be better suited to answer your question..

good luck....

No, I mean a .swt file which is what the flash button extension is.
Thanks

How the heck have you exported an .swt from Flash?
Did you change the extension afterwards?
As Carl said, it should be and remain an .swf file extension!

Why did you save it as a .swt file? I think that is a generator file extension. It appears to me you should go back to the drawing board in Flash 5 and republish as a .swf instead. Regards,
