Hi,

we are just about to switch over to a new print server. At the moment both are built up identically and users have been requested to change their connection to the new one.
I was wondering if there is an accurate way of seeing the usage of the old print server as I don't trust them all to switch over before the switch off date.

At the moment I have been looking at the Event Viewer - System logs, with the print jobs listed. I am now not so sure if this is accurate as it has listing from my own computer, and I know I'm not printing off this server.

Any ideas?

thanks,

Chris

Why not just log onto the print server via IE and look at the print stats?

Why log onto the print server over IE? Can't anyway as it is disabled, but is there any difference between loging on to the actual print server and doing it over IE?

Can't see any sort of print stats on the server.
