Has anyone implemented a switchboard system that displays a certain switchboard based on the user?

Is the most efficient way to do this, using multiple switchobards and opening the one corresponding to the user's access level?

I would suggest that you create your own "switchboard" from a form not use the one from Access.

David,

If you have just a couple of switchboards, you could build them once. Else you could build them on the fly. But I reccomend you create an empty form for the StartUp form, always hidden. On the load event of the StartUp, check the CurrentUser() to determing the suitable "switchboard" for that user. Just don't forget to unload the hidden form when your user exits your database.

How are ya dpimental . . .

. . . or you can use an [blue]AutoExec[/blue] macro to run a function to perform the same as JerryKlmns post but without the form.

Thanks all for your help. I actually did a combination of things, including an autoexec macro, a splash screen and a couple of different switchboards based on the user access level.

Thanks again.
