switching my PRI provider

My PRI provider is being switched. I am not a telephone guy, i know just enough to move phones, assign DIDs etc. All the numbers are staying the same so will there be programming changes to be made when those numbers are ported over?

Suggest to call a local vendor whom takes care of the system to make sure all goes off without a hitch.

Process:
-Get a due date and time
-work with your local vendor who cares for the system in filling out the forms for the new carrier
-get the porting number for the vendor to call when they are ready

I am guessing a 1 or 2 hour charge if all goes smooth.
If you dont have a local vendor on site and something goes wrong, look for a new job!.
