IS-IT--Management
Hello everyone,
Got an interesting situation here. We're switching from Frame Relay to Metro Ethernet. We have a leased line from our parent company in Japan to us in the US. We don't manage it, and getting info on it is just short of impossible. We have 3 T1s (1 data and 2 voice). They're router is connected to our L3 switch, and I have two static routes for them in my routing table. Since we're dropping those T1's and that leased line is on our T1, will their connection here drop, even though they are paying for their leased line independently to their ISP? I've called their ISP contact in the States, but without an account number or IP address, I'm SOL. All I get are maybes and if's. Anyone have experience with this?
