Hi all, system is BC12 SP5, connects to the Cisco gateway... (Route 67 below)

When staff tries to call the BC12 through the gateway , only 2 of 5 call is succesful. Cisco engineer says," pbx gives switching congestion message to our GW.

I started a tracing and decoded it..
Here is a small result of it

Hi Cuneyt,

Can you tell about more about the topology? Do you use Cisco between 2 MD's. Are both sites BC12?

Regards...

Hi Cuneyt,

maybe you have "hanging" trunks, try to restart TLP60 in the lim where the trunk is.

I have done a lot of integration testing with MD110 to Cisco using GateKeeper / Gateway.

Here is the MD110 Setup we use.

<RODDP:DEST=ALL;
EXTERNAL DESTINATION ROUTE DATA
DEST DRN ROU CHO CUST ADC TRC SRT NUMACK PRE

This is with BC11 SP13 though.

Also make sure ASPAC=223,parval=7;

Your problem maybe that the BCAP does not allow for 64K Unrestricted Digital, this is required for virtual messages.

IE If the Extn is diverted etc there is a meesage sent back to the originator to inform them of this.

Have a look at the setup of the EXTNs as they maybe trying to send the call to somewhere unknown.

Hi all,
Voice topology is like this,

Branch offices are connected to Cisco gateway(as5350)..
We have 2 central offices..
2 central offices have Md110 Bc12 SP5 with qsig connection

When a person in branch office call to central-office2, the call comes to Cisco gateway, then route 67 sends it to Central office 1 (Md110), it checks the numbering plan and sends it to Central office2 (md110)

Branch offices(with 12.2.24 IOS)>>>>>AS5350 Gateway<>>>rou67<>>>>MD110-1<>>>>Route 98>>>>>Md110-2

This "switch congestion" message also occurs when branch office dials the MD110-1
So discard the central office 2 site and route98...

to mundus; Yes you're right.. Restarting tlp60 and slp60 fixes it but after 2 or 3 hours later, same problem occurs so we need a permanent solution
What i saw in susip rou=67 is, some lines seem to be idle but busy.. May be it's related with this...(7-30 trunk is the case)

67 007-30 TL60 IDLE #00B4 BUSY
67 009-1 TL60 IDLE #00EF FREE

to triple7;
Is there any easy way to convert these route parameters to BC12?

Hi cuneyt2020,

There are patches FR104045, 104127 and 104132 solving your problem. These patches are included in SP6 for BC12. Upgrading your system to SP6 will solve your problems. Easy way to convert the route parameters for BC12 use PCREGEN software. Can you do it?

Hi kank,
after installing patches, if the problem is still not fixed, i can try the new rodap and rocap.
I make our local vendor convert it with PCREGEN.

Thanks a lot.
Rgrds.

Hello,
there is one more patch which is not included in sp 6 ( maybe in sp 7 ), the patch is S105006A in SLP 60.

Problem still occurs or some of routes after SP6 installation .. But it doesn't occur for some.. (qsig trunks are having problems and euro isdn ones are not.) This situation was also same before SP6 installation. I mean nothing changed.
