Switching between Remote Desktop and Excel

When I work within a terminal server environment via RDP, then switch back to Excel 2007 (local), I have to click multiple times within the Excel screen for it to respond.

Typically, 15 clicks or so will do the trick, but this is becoming quite frustrating. I have had the same issue when working in Excel 2003. I tried upgrading RDP to the latest version, but no luck.

I am working in a multi-monitor environment (3 total).

If you know of a solution for this, please please please let me know.
