obviously because there is no applescript in pc's.....my question is are there any replacements for applescript? it sucks that i have a gap left open in some of my major scripts, feel like im back to square 1 any help would be appreciated.
VBScript is the equivalent of Applescript is the equivalent of VBScript is the ....
Support for VBScript is built into Windows (sort of, you have to have the Windows Scripting Host enabled, which I believe is still by default). Translating your code from AppleScript to VBScript is another story.
I'm unaware of any Microsoft app or service that would run Applescript as written.
there are some free utilities to windows "auto-do-this-kinda thing" outthere....depends on what are u trying to do with AppleScript...a lot of it can be substituted with "Send MSG" script or "Execute DDE" (depends on application that supports it)...depending on coplexity of your application this might not be as easy as it sounds....
