GM Experts,
I have a database that opens to a Switchboard created from a form, and it shows no menus or toolbars. How can I get to the background of the db (toolbars, menus, database window, etc.)?

TIA,

Best,

Holding the Shift key down while you open the database may do it, depending on why the menus etc are missing.

Hi,
Thanks for the advice. It didn't help. The Switchboard is set to open without full menus or toolbars, which is a setting in the Switchboard Manager. But now that I've set it to open that way, I cannot retrieve my toolbars again once it is opened.

Any advice?

Best,
Blue Horizon [2thumbsup]

Unless Shift-bypass has been disabled, the db should open without triggering the switchboard to open (that is a setting that is configured in Startup. The settings you mention are also available in Startup (under Tools)
Try again, being sure to hold the shift key until the db loads completely.
If your db uses ULS, you will need to hold the shift key after entering your name & password and while clicking ok.
