I have not tried it, but I would assume
1)rename the swithchboard items table to something else like "oldItems"
2)use the wizard to make a new blank switchboard it will create a new blank Switchboard Items table
3)delete the new switchboard items table
4)rename "oldItems" to "Switchboard Items

If you do what MajP suggests, be sure to turn off AutoCorrect BEFORE doing this otherwise it keeps track of these changes and it won't help.
