I built three separate databases, and each is controlled by a switchboard created with the switchboard manager. Now I would like to build a main switchboard to navigate through the 3 previously built database which are controlled by its individual switchboards. How can I program this feature? I know how to build switchboards, but it seems as if I'm limited to 1 database file. I want to build a switchboard which will control 3 separate databases.

You're going to have to do some VBA to accomplish this; especially if you want to merge the switchboards all into one .MDB file. You can only have one switchboard per database because of the way they're set up; anything more complicated requires you build your own menus.

In short: not possible using the built-in switchboard manager, however it is possible using VBA commands.

Thanks! I'm not too familiar with VBA, however, I can get up to speed fairly quick. Would I use VBA while in the Access application? Someone else suggested that I build my own form without the switchboard manager's assistance. Would I utilize VBA to accomplish this task.

Yes, VBA isn't too tough to pick up. The first stretch is the hardest, especially if there's no one else to show you all the ideosynchracies(sp). I recommend you pick up a book and read the first few chapters ... of course looking at examples is excellent if you can find any.

Thank you so much! This gives me the answers I was looking for.
