We have a database here that our Mgmt. uses for reports. I did not create the database but rather inherited it. I put the icon for the database on someone's computer this afternoon and the switchboard does not show up for some reason, but I can hold the shift key and double click the icon to get to the reports and queries. Anyone have any ideas as to why the switchboard did not pull up on this pc? It has worked on every other pc we have.

Could be a wariety of issues...
- Corrupt database, try repair.
- Incorrect version of MS Access, what version is required?
- Invalid install of MS Access, try re-install.
- Screen resolution issues? Probably a stretch.

Most likely if the problem is only on one PC, it is related to environment on that PC...

Yes, I guess it could be a number of things. Thanks for your suggestions. It is an MS Access 2000 database. Some of our computers use Windows 2000 and some use Windows XP Professional. It has worked fine on both systems except for this one stupid pc. You double click and no switchboard. But you hold shift key and double click on the icon and there are the queries, reports, etc. It's weird. And frustrating. Any hoo, thanks. I'll go play with it some more.
