I am due to inexperience and lack of time forced to use the built in switchboard part of Access. My problem is that from my main switchboard I want to have buttons that go to sub switchboards to organize my forms.

When I click on the button to go to the forms or reports sub switchboard, nothing happens. Can anyone tell me what the problem might be. I'm stumpted. I thought I had used this feature before but for the life of me can't figure out what is wrong this time.

Thanks
Sharon

Hi

You are using the switchboard with tblSwitchboardItems to provide the parameters for the switch board yes?

If so, what does the row look like which you expect to cause a "sub switchboard" to display?

here is what my table says:

1 5 Reports 1 2

Is this the line you are refering to? Not sure what it means.

Hi

so do you have lines

2 0 Reports 0 Default
2 1 First Report 3 frmGetParameters
2 2 ..blah

It is this table which determines the menus shown or options executed,
