Hi,
I have a switchboard that is only closed when the program is exited. I also have some forms that are not popup so when I open them they hide the switchboard so to access the switchborad again, you need to close the current form.
What I want is to use (maybe a 3 party form) that will allow me to keep visible the left strip of my switchboard where my buttons are even when I open a non-popup form. So that the user can open another form or do other stuff on the switchboard without having to clos the current form first.

Or is there a way to add a combo box to the main menu that will display the list of open forms at any on time for easy access by the user

I had a simple db similar to this
What I have done is created a switchboard form in a maximized view, placed buttons to open other forms and an unbound subform control.
Each button you press source object of the subform control will change as the required. This was working well. Not tried with complicated dbs.
code to take parameters from the forms will be different as they are will become subforms.

Hi,
If you want, you could build a MoveSize Action into your macro that opens each form. With a little testing, you could position the windows exactly where you'd like them to be when form and switchboard are open at the same time.
