Hello to all.
I wanted to know if and what woudl be the easiest way in Access to do the following.

I want to set up a switchboard that will have different buttons. I want to set it up so that if User1 logs into the database then they will see example buttons / options 1-4 on the switchboard... and if user2 logs in he sees all options including option 5....

Essentially one user id is more like an admin access while the other user id is just a id that allows them to go in and add records run queries etc...

Let me know if you can help.
Thx,

When you load the switchboard form check the userID. Based on that userID make visible/enable etc. the controls for the user. You can store the settings in a table if you want which would make it easier to edit the options available to each user.

Hope this helps
