Hi, please forgive my ignorance but I am new to access. I am putting together a database, I have a table and a form when I look at the form I can access all the data in the form. My problem is when I use Switchboard manager to create a switchboard it seems to work fine, it opens the form OK but all my data is missing from the form? It's still on the table but the form can no longer see it??

Id be grateful for any advice

Regards

Dave

Hi,
Go to the design view of the Switchboard
Open code window
View Menu > Code
Then search for the code below

DoCmd.OpenForm rs![Argument], , , , acAdd

Remove the last portion from it , , , , acAdd
will look like
DoCmd.OpenForm rs![Argument]
You will be able to view all the records then

Hope this helps
please come back if not

Thank you, I am very grateful for your help.

Hi Dave,
Personaly speaking I never use Switchboard forms created by the wizard. It is not beautiful. I normally creat an unbound form and put command buttons there, so that I can control the opening commands as I wish. To answer your question I have created one. I felt that you might have selected the "Open Form in Add Mode".
Anyway glad it is working.
