Can you switch the unit of measure on the pick ticket....Product is sold in one unit but needs to be picked from warehouse in another?

You could modify the picking ticket and add a new calculated field ie

Conditional statement SOP_LINE_WORK='EACH'
true 'UNIT'
false USOP_LINE_WORK.UOFM

Or something like that.

You may need to perform some calculations to manipulate the Quantities as well.

thanks for the help.... One more question along these lines

Will Great Plains handle the following situation:

I order goods in one unit of measure, recieve them into inventory as another unit of measure, I must take them out of the warehouse in another unit and then bill the goods and handle my inventory transactions in the same unit in which I recieved?

Are all of these unit of measures using the same base qty ie 1 EACH = 1 UNIT or is is some other quantity? If it is some other company, the SOP LINe table contains both the Quantity ie if you sold 1 EACH as well as the qty in base unit of measure field. Ie if you have a unit of measure called FOOT. You buy in METRES (where 1 METRE = x FOOT), etc it will have both these listed in the table that you can do a calculation on. Do a select on the SOP10200 table for one of those transactions and you'll see what I mean.
