We have a 3Com 4400 switch on floor 1 and another on floor 2. These two have each a few users on them. Between them they are linked with 2xCat5 cables to make/keep bandwidth at the optimum. My question, will the link be seen as a duplicate link and send everything as double. My goal is to make sure this doesn't create unwanted extra traffic but also try and keep bandwidth at it highest....Any help?

Page 26 describes what 3com calls aggregated links, a method to increase bandwidth by using more than one connection, normally spanning tree blocks more than one connection unless you use aggregate links I tried to remain child-like, all I acheived was childish.
