Hi,

I have an 8i database with 6 blob.dbf files (2GB each). The first 5 blobs are at 67% on usage and the 6th (active) is at 98.4% with Automacally extend enable (200mb increment).

Is it possible to switch to the other 67% blob file and enable Automatically extend?

Should I just create a 7th blob file?

Thank You

Disable 6th (active) Automacally extend and enable for the others?

I thought there might be commands similiar to "alter system switch logfile". Your method is simpler.
