can anyone recommend a ethernet switch for a VoIP BCM application. I was going to use an Adtran NetVanta 1224 but I'm hoping there are some better alternatives

If you need POE, check out the Nortel 460 or 5520 switches.

I use 3com 4400 Layer 4 switches, somewhat cheaper then the nortel product and inbetween a nortel and cisco solution. I would make sure you have layer 4 switching and go with whats in your budget.

We use Netgear 48 port switches with great success and it pleases our accounting dept pocketbooks
