Had connected an rj45 cable into two ports of a switch. This caused the network to go down. Why?
Did this at home too, by using server and hub. Result was to crash server. Server recovered itself.

It causes an infinite loop, so to speak. Don't do this!! Why would you do this? Just testing, I hope!
