The merlin messaging has the option to follow "switch mode" or "schedule." I have always used switch mode in conjunction with the night service button. Tech support recommends against schedule mode, but is not clear on why (something about a "reliable night mode". Because my user has 3 operators there is a very "unreliable" night mode because all three must activate their night buttons.
Has anyone used the scheduling option in the Merlin Messaging? What are the pitfalls or gotcha's? Do you recommend for or against it?
