Hello,

We have a Cisco switch 3550 with power inline. This device had been working fine until yesterday when it suddenly stopped working. We are able to access it via the console port, but when we reboot it we get a message that reads:

“WARNING: The switch is not usable”

And none of its’ ports is sending any signal, with no apparent reason, checking the configuration we cannot find anything unusual.

Has anyone come across this kind of trouble?, this is the first time I see such a thing

Thanks in advance for your help.

Regards,

Drina

Nope but things do break , sounds like it's time to RMA to cisco .
