Hi!

have sucessfull set up a 3x 4500G cluster with 10 Vlans each with it´s own ip.

Now i am trying to connect a DHCP server to the Master with 10 Scopes.

My problem is that all machines on different Vlans get their ip´s from the same scope as the server.

Any ideias about this ?

mchaves,

Your question/statement was a little hard to follow but if I understand right you have a DHCP server supplying DHCP for 10 scopes that you need to have working for the vlans?

Well if this is what your asking, what you need to do is create a dhcp server statement in the global config:

dhcp-server 0 ip 172.16.11.2
dhcp relay information enable

Then in the vlan interface for the vlan define the dhcp server

interface Vlan-interface99
ip address 192.168.23.1 255.255.255.0
dhcp-server 0

The simple answer is that all your machines are *not* all on different VLANs.

Post the config from the switch the machines are patched into.
