SWF transparent background?

I'm trying to find out if a flash movie as an .swf or .exe can be created with a transparent background. > This file will NEVER BE USED FOR A WEB application- it will run in PowerPoint. I was hoping I would be able to use the .swf file with the PowerPoint background showing through. Is this possible?
