Swatches Do Not Distill

I have designed several home elevations in Adobe Illustrator. These EPS files print fine through Illustrator, still when I include add them to my Quark document then run it through the Distiller the various swatches I have included do not print.Any idea why this is happening?

What do you mean? Swatches of colour? Did you draw a box in AI, fill them with a colour and then include these in the file you imported into Quark? What format did you save the AI file in?

Yes, I drew a box with lines, filled with color and dragged it to the swatch window.

I then filled a section of the house with this swatch selection. It display and prints fine from Illustrator. Still, after I add the EPS file I created to my Quark document and run it through the Distiller it looks ok on the screen but does not print properly.

lso... when I send it to another computer it does not display correctly.

Suggestions?

Not sure if this is an issue, but are you on Mac or PC? If on PC, is it possible that the eps file is being saved as binary instead of ASCII? I'm not sure if that would effect it going through Distiller....

Does that happen to any other swatches you created in this file or others?
