We have a customer who wants to swap phones on a bcm200. One of the phones has a few problems and thats why he wants to swap them

The dn's are 410 and 432. I forgot how to do this, but it should be possible to just switch the phones and then assign the correct dn's to them again.

So make 410 turn into 432 and the same with 432 make it 410. How would I switch the dn's in the bcm manager?

If you just want to make the one phone the other at the others location make sure set relo is off and just switch them.

If you just want to physically move the phones but leave the dn where it's at, just unplug the phone, move it and plug it back in.

If phone (A) is broken and your not using phone (B), just unplug phone (B) and plug it in where phone (A) the programming is in the phone system and not the phone.

PS You may need to change the butto desi's if the 2 phones ar lableed.

You go to services ,telephony, genaral settings click on feature settings ,then set relo to Y.

He not trying to relocate a phone, he's just trying to replace a bad phone with another phone.
