I recently purchased a USB Sync cable that is supposed to be used to connect my Samsung 620 to my home computer. I installed the drivers from the CD provided with the sync cable, hooked up the phone, and the phone showed "USB Connection" at the bottom of the screen, and in Windows Device Manager, it shows up as a Modem. I don't want to use my cellphone as a modem, I want to be able to take pictures off of it, and put stuff on it from my pc. I am currently running Windows XP Pro SP2, and have Microsoft ActiveSync for a Dell Axim (though I doubt it's related at all). Has anyone had any kind of experience with this issue, with this specific phone or other?
