Swapping 100D board with an T&R 012 1

Customer has a 3 cabinet Legend R2 with a 100D in the last slot of the third cabinet. They are no longer using their PRI and want to replace it with an 012 T&R board. If I remove the 100 D board, install the 012 in its place and do a board renumber, will that automatically erase any PRI programming associated with the 100D in that slot? Any caveats other than the normal shutdown/powerup sequence? Thank you.

In my opion, the PRI Programming WILL NOT GO AWWAY just doing what you said.

It might, but to be on the safe side, I would manually get rid of it. Go in to Lines & Trunks and DS1 and do away with the PRI Set up (Type = PRI, Frame Format, Suppression).

Then, POWER DOWN, remove the 100D Mod, and then POWER UP and do a BOARD RENUMBER.

Again, power down and put your T&R Module in and then another BOARD RENUMBER.

The 100D translations may not interfere, but I'd do at least a little bit of "Erasing" just to be on the safe side.
