I'm looking for drivers for an SCM Microsystems model SBP-D2 PCMCIA card reader/writer. SCM appears to no longer have a tech support function and their website doesn't show any driver downloads for this product. Win98SE recognizes the new hardware on startup and installs some TI drivers, but they are apparently not the right ones for the app.

The goal is to be able to plug PCMCIA ATA flash cards into this Dell desktop machine and read and write to it as another HD.

Any help out there?

Thanks in advance,

Gary
Austin, TX

Hmmmm isn't that the SCm with the ISA controller?..if so then 98 has drivers for it. I just spent a weekend install a garage sale PC card reader ( $10 bucks, in the box new) It was a Databook, had win98se drivers available, but after all was said and done I had to rerun the win98 setup utility to get everything arrnaged so I could read a CF card. Now that it's working I can say I should have simply tossed it and got something that was PCI. Somebody remind me next time.

BTW, the slot made a difference in how this card was recognized.
