Hello I am running aloha 6.1.19 in windows xp and have 5 terminals and term 5 hard drive is no good(no display, network cant see it) and I want to move term 1 to take term 5 place till I replace it. Besides unplugging network and printer and moving term what settings if any do I need to change in the aloha settings? Thank You

swap terminals aloha

in the \aloha\ directory there is a ibercfg.bat file - right click on it and edit it and change the term=1 to 5.
This can be done from the file server after you reconnect everything. Open my network places, or my computer. Type in \\term1\bootdrv\aloha
you should see some folders and an ini file and the ibercfg.bat file. Right click and select edit then run if it asks you that.
Change the term=1 to term=2.
Select file, save. - reboot the terminal.
That will get the terminal working. The computer name should be changed on the terminal but not absolutly necessary just to get it to work, it will work as term1 but when you repair your broken terminal make sure you name it term5 and swap them back again.
