Hello...I am trying to install 10g R2 on Solaris 10..I have come across this error:

Checking operating system version: must be 5.8, 5.9 or 5.10. Actual 5.10
Passed

checking Temp space: must be greater than 250 MBKilled
. Actual 19771 MB Passed

Checking swap space: 0 MB available, 500 MB required. Failed <<<<

Checking monitor: must be configured to display at least 256 colors. Actual 16777216 Passed

Some requirement checks failed. You must fulfill these requirements before

...using the oracle id ....

when trying to install under root..the pre reqs complete correctly other than it saying I cannot install under root..so I am suspecting its something to do with this particular id....

PLEASE HELP...

Thanks
Karim

Can you tell from the installation script(s) what commands it uses to check the amount of swap available? Or is it all hidden in a Java installer? As 'oracle', are you able to run swap -s?
