I have a netware 6.5 server that loads all the volumes and when it starts loading the swap file to the sys volume the server experieces a critical error and abends. When I go into maintenance mode it won't allow the i2opci.nlm to load.
What is the best way to start server without swap file?

try to boot the server using the -na and -ns switch. This will bypass the startup.ncf and the autoexec.ncf

then manually execute startup.ncf to load your disk drivers.

then manually mount your volumes.

type in "swap" and see if the command is avilable, if not, you'll need to go forward with some load stages.

loadstage commands are entered in like this:"loadstage 1"

there are 5 loadstages, keep going until the swap command is avilable.

Once it is, enter in "swap delete sys"

Well the server finally started without abending on the swap file. I did do the server with the -ns switch and loaded the drivers but I had troubles mounting the volumes. They are nss volumes and all the nss loads commands failed. How do you mount the nss volumes manually for future reference.
