svchost running at 50%

I've got scvhost running at 50% and i was told that it could be a virus, i've ran welchia scan from symantic but it found nothing, anyone know what else i can do to fix this problem?

Go to "Trend-micro.com". They can do a complete online virus scan on you system. Takes awhile, but good.
