Does anyone know if a station can have prime line in one RSC and one virtual line in different RSC at the same time? Trying to see if I can get one of my phones set up with 2 different lines that have different RSC and SFC as oppose to setting up 2 different stations at the same desk.

i wonder if you set up the 2nd extn as a prime on a separate phone or port with the different RSC it will follow that RSC, then program that 2nd extn onto a separate key on the first phone

SFC yes that is the way you setup an ACD extension. The virtual will be in a class that only has SFI 95 flagged. The MyLine can have any other class and function separately for features.

For RSC my test says no the outbound calls from the virtual will follow the RSC of the MyLine.

RSC Test
2899 RSC = 5 Internal calls only (dTerm SIP)
12899 RSC = 1 Standard call restrictions (no restrictions, SP350 softphone)

From 2899 you cannot dial externally on either line

From 12899 on both lines you can dial externally

Thank you for your replies. #Roo Richards, I tried that. Didn't work. The station follows the RSC that is assigned to the prime line. Anything else will be ignored. #DoubleDriveLine, that is potential. So you understand, I'm trying to have prime line without Authorization Code required and another line has it required. Can you describe your set up a bit more? I don't have ACD.

What I am saying is it doesn't matter what RSC you have on the virtual line. The calls from that line will always follow the RSC of the physical phone.

Thank you. Sorry, I didn't get that at first. That's what I thought but wasn't sure if someone had figure out some ways around.
