We recently installed a SV9100 for a customer and it is connected into their MiAlert nursecall system via SIP trunks. The nursecall is the SIP server so when someone presses their panic button, the nursecall rings the DID and the phones in ring group 2 all ring.

The issue we have is with the caller ID. On their old system (Panasonic) the phones would display the resident's name. Now, all we get is two digits, just a part of the description programmed into the nursecall. MiAlert tech support says we need to use P-Asserted-Identity. NTAC said to change the SIP trunks to Carrier B in 10-29-14 but it did not make a difference.

Anybody ever come across this?

10-29-14, carrier code can affect the CID. It may come down to trial and error. Try different settings. "N" is used for many other SIPT carriers.
