Hello all,

I am trying to set up call forwarding for an extension to an external mobile number.

When internal users dial by extension, the forwarding works perfectly. If the mobile user doesn't pick up, then it would go to the mobile voicemail.

When external users dial the complete 10 digits number for that extension, it would forward to the mobile number, but rang twice and go back to the voicemail of the forwarded extension. Any reasons why it's doing this?

Check call forward busy no answer timer and transfer recall time.
I think it's 24-01 or 02.

Hi Belevedere, I see the Transfer recall time on 24-02-04 but I don't see Call Forward Busy No Answer timer on the SV9100.

I played around with 24-02-03 Delayed Call Forward Time. It's currently set at 12.

If I set the number lower, then the forwarded call will go to voicemail quicker (Within one ring). However, increasing the time has no effect, the forwarded call will go to voicemail within 2 rings.

24-02-04 is the transfer recall timer. 24-02-03 is the call forward B/NA time (delayed CFWD timer is the same).
24-02-03 should be higher than 24-02-04. I'd set 24-02-04 to a much higher number to get it out of the way (360 sec), then test.

Hi Belevedere,

I increased 24-02-03 to 360, and kept 24-02-04 at 12. It still rang twice on the mobile cell phone and revert back to the voicemail of the extension. Are there anything other settings that might have caused this?

It's possible that someone placed that extension inot a different timer class than the default.
Look at 20-29 to see if that extension is in a different timer class. If so, do the same changes in 20-31 for that timer class.

They are all zeros for 20-29, which i'm assuming is the default timer class. Appreciate all your help!
