1 out of 8 ports on a single line interface card in my SV9100 is giving a busy signal. Whether you are dialing by extension internally or DID externally, however, from said phone on that port. You can dial other extensions internally and it works fine. If you dial an outside number, busy dignal.

I have tried resetting the blade, the port, etc. I also removed all lines from the card and still got a busy signal. So something IN the sv9100 is holding it up somehow. I should also mention that this has been working and there have not been an changes made. This is using a wireless DECT system in a nursing home. The company who supports the dect system has looked in to their system and says there is no issue there.

Try turning off Do Not Disturb (default code is 7470 to cancel or 7471 to turn on) or check in 24-09 to see if there is any forwarding turned on (can also dial 7410 to cancel forwarding)

Well, apparently it was that simple. Call forwarding was set to forward all calls and the forwarding destination was a non existent extension. I am not sure how this got set. We have not made changes to this system in months. Also these wireless dect phones dont seem to be able to dial the maint. codes so I am not sure what happend. But I will know for next time.

Person can be amazed by what users actually dial but will admit to nothing. Our local area code is 780 which coincides with the general purpose relay access code. I don't have a lot of people using the relay so I typically delete the code from every system.

The biggest request, for some reason, is to change the trunk access code from 9 to 8 "because people are calling 911". There is no valid local, national or international number that starts with 11 so not sure why it is an issue [banghead]
