Hello Techs

The following firmware is required to be equipped on 8LC card.
• For SCA-8LCA/SCA-8LCA-EMEA: SP-3893 8MC PROG-A Issue 4.0.0.0 or later version
• For SCA-8LCC/SCA-8LCC-EMEA: SP-3983 8MC PROG-B Issue 1.0.0.0 or later version
8LC not complying with caller ID cannot be used.
To activate this feature, assign the Service Feature Restriction Class (SFC) data depending on each
specification.
a.) For ETSI Caller ID
SFI 239=1 (ETSI Caller ID is allowed) and SFI 146=0 (Analog Caller ID-Station is restricted)
b.) For Bellcore Caller ID
SFI 239=0 (ETSI Caller ID is restricted) and SFI 146=1 (Analog Caller ID-Station is allowed)
c.) For Bellcore Caller ID complying with Single Message
SFI 239=0 (ETSI Caller ID is restricted), SFI 146=1 (Analog Caller ID-Station is allowed), and
SFI 153=1 (Analog Caller ID-Station (Single Mode) is allowed)
It should work to any analog CID capable SLT. See info below from Business DPM.
Programming
<Analog Caller ID - Station by Modem Sender feature for Bellcore Caller ID>
STEP 1: ASFC - Assign the Service Feature Restriction Class to each Analog Station.
DAY/NIGHT: Day/Night Mode
TN: Tenant Number
SFI: 168=1 (Analog Caller ID Station by Modem Sender) Note 1
or
SFI: 194=1 (Expanded Analog Caller ID Station) Note 1
SFI: 239=0 (ETSI Caller ID is out of service) Note 2
When Calling Number Delivery (Message Type - 04H) is notified
SFI: 153=1 Note 1
Note 1: Assigning SFI=153, SFI=168 and SFI=194 in ASFC/ASFCN command for non-Analog
Caller ID station will cause a failure of displaying caller ID afterward. Therefore,
be sure to assign SFI=153, SFI=168 and SFI=194 in ASFC/ASFCN command toward
Analog Caller ID station.
Note 2: Setting SFI 239=0 is required to activate “Analog Caller ID Station by Modem Sender”
or “Expanded Caller ID Station by Modem Sender” for Bellcore Caller ID.

Do you have the PA-8RSTAE or 8RSTY register/sender card? The 8RSTAD does not support Caller ID. Level 4-7 of card need to be programmed to RT 937 not 905 for FSK Sender, analog card for phones need to support Caller ID as well on the 8500 usually a 16LCCD, check the circuit card manual to make sure, the first paragraph -General Function - will tell you if the card you have supports Caller ID.

Only Have PA-16LCBJ - B SP3251 A10A Will this Card not work possible

Yes Circuit Card Manual says this card supports Caller ID for Analog Desk Phones with LCD Display

We have 8 RSTY SW 375 A 1 E Register Cards

PA-16LCBJ-B Does not support Caller ID according to the manual I have.

1. General Function
The PA-16LCBJ-B circuit card, that is used exclusively in a u-law system, provides an interface between
a maximum of 16 analog terminals and the system with a range of 600 , including terminal resistance.
This card also can send Stutter Dial Tone, that is not a continuous tone, to an associated terminal that has
no Message Waiting Lamp (MWL) instead of activating the MWL if required.

Nothing about caller ID as opposed to the 16LCCD -

General Function
The PA-16LCCD circuit card provides an interface between a maximum of 16 analog voice terminals and
the system with a range of 1200 , including terminal resistance. This card also can send Stutter Dial Tone,
which is not a continuous tone, to an associated terminal that has no Message Waiting Lamp (MWL) instead
of activating the MWL if required. In addition, momentary open / polarity reverse function is provided
for 16 channels on this card. The card can be used for Caller ID service. (When Firmware SP-3876 is
used.) This is a -48 V card.

Thanks All Our circuit card Manual show Analog Caller Id supported on this but from what I can tell you are right should just go on line and find out older version says no to caller ID. Thanks everyone again!!
